DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT

WakeRule account and data deletion

You can delete your WakeRule account and the data attached to it at any time, from inside the app or by asking us. Deletion is immediate and irreversible: signing in again does not bring anything back.

From inside the app

  • Open WakeRule and go to the SETTINGS tab in the bottom bar.
  • Scroll to the bottom and tap DELETE ACCOUNT.
  • Confirm on the prompt that appears. The account is erased right then, and the app signs you out.

Without the app

If you have already uninstalled WakeRule, email [email protected] from the address you signed in with and ask for your account to be deleted. We match the request against that signed-in email; a request from another address cannot be verified. There is no web login to offer instead — the account exists only to sync the app, so there is nothing to sign in to on this site.

What deletion removes

  • Your identity — name, email, and the raw profile claims Google sent when you signed in.
  • Your alarms — every alarm synced to our backend is deleted outright.
  • Your mission text — the words you wrote for every past attempt are erased.
  • Your sessions — every sign-in is revoked, and the push token, user agent, and IP address recorded with them are cleared.
  • Your subscription record — the entitlement we hold for you goes with the account. Deleting your account does not cancel your Google Play subscription and is not a refund: cancel it in Google Play separately.

Camera frames are not on this list because they were never stored: they exist only in memory for the moment of verification. The privacy policy covers how Google's AI service handles them on its side.

What stays, and why

Erasure here means taking you out of the rows, not always taking the rows out of the database. Purchase and subscription records have to be kept as financial records, and the database refuses to delete a user those rows still point at. So the account row, and the attempt rows the ledger settles against, survive in a stripped state: no name, no email, no mission text, marked deleted and permanently disabled. What remains cannot be signed into and does not identify you.

Data on your phone

Alarms, compiled missions, and settings are also stored on the device itself. Uninstalling WakeRule removes them.
